Reservations aren’t required, but they’re a good idea, especially during busy times or if you want to make sure you get a table for your date night. You can easily reserve online or by calling ahead. There is a dress code here—athletic wear, tank tops, flip flops, and offensive or inappropriate clothing aren’t allowed. Saturday nights have an even stricter dress code, so it’s best to dress nicely and avoid casual or sporty clothes.
This restaurant is cashless and only accepts payment by card or digital methods. You’ll need to use a debit card, credit card, or a digital payment option like Apple Pay or Google Pay to pay for your meal and drinks here. Cash is not accepted. This helps make the checkout process smoother and faster.
There is an entertainment fee per person on nights when live music is featured. This helps support local artists performing in the lounge. The entertainment fee is automatically included in your bill on those nights.
Private dining and event bookings are available for birthday parties, corporate events, wedding receptions, and other special occasions. You can customize the space and menu options to fit your needs. Just fill out the events form on the website or email event@theverdictlounge.com with your event details, like guest count, preferred seating, and any special requests. It's also possible to reserve tables online for smaller gatherings or call ahead if you have questions.
There is a maximum two-hour stay for all parties. This helps us manage seating, especially during busy times, so more guests can enjoy their experience. If you have a larger group or a special event, just let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate your plans within our policies.
Gratuity is automatically added to your bill. For regular parties, there’s an 18% gratuity fee. For larger groups, the gratuity fee is 20%. This helps make sure all guests get good service, especially when serving big tables.
There is a fee if you want to bring your own birthday cake. For groups under five people, it’s $50. For groups of five or more, the fee is $75. This fee covers handling and serving your cake during your celebration.
If you’re checking us out for the first time, definitely try the Pan-Seared Redfish or the Grilled Salmon—both bring that New Orleans seafood flavor front and center. People also love the Shrimp Po Boy if you’re in the mood for something classic. For appetizers, the fried chicken sliders and Verdict Wings are big favorites, and if you’re into creative dishes, the Death Row Burger with spicy hot sausage and a fried egg is worth a shot.
