FAQs

A certificate of destruction is provided immediately after each shredding service is completed. This document serves as proof that your confidential materials were securely destroyed and helps you stay compliant with federal and state privacy laws. You get it right on the spot after the job is done, whether it’s a one-time purge or a scheduled pickup.
A mobile shredding truck comes right to your location, so you don’t have to take your documents anywhere. The driver collects your papers and loads them into the truck, which has powerful shredding equipment inside. You’re welcome to watch the whole process from start to finish to make sure your documents are destroyed. After everything is shredded, you get a certificate of destruction before the team leaves. This makes the process secure, transparent, and easy for you.
One-time purge appointments are available for document shredding. This means you can schedule a single visit whenever you have a large amount of old files, papers, or boxes that need secure destruction. Just gather everything you want shredded, set up an appointment, and the shredding truck will come to your location. The shredding is done right there on-site so you can see it happen, and you’ll get a certificate of destruction when it’s finished for your records. This is a good option for spring cleanouts, moving, or clearing out storage.
Ongoing document shredding is available with secure, locked containers provided at no extra charge. Containers like the Ergo Cabinet or Paper Retriever are dropped off at your location, and when they’re full, they get picked up and shredded right there on-site. The shredding schedule can be set up to match your needs, whether that’s weekly, monthly, or something else that fits your business. Everything happens at your place, so you can see the shredding in person, and you get a certificate of destruction every time for your records.
Shredding is priced by the pound, so you only pay for what you need. There are no fuel surcharges, no administrative fees, no hidden fees, and no contracts. The price you see is the price you get, and you aren’t locked in to anything long term. Both one-time and ongoing services are available, and payment can be made by cash, check, credit, or debit card. You’ll get an invoice right after your service, so you can process it easily.
All paper that gets shredded is recycled. After your documents are securely destroyed on-site, the shredded material is taken to a recycling facility. There, it’s processed—where ink is lifted, and glue and staples are removed—before the pulp is turned into new products like paper, packaging, insulation, pet bedding, or sometimes even renewable fuel, depending on the facility. This way, your confidential information stays protected, and the paper waste is reused instead of ending up in a landfill
Every scrap of paper we shred is 100% recycled. Once shredded, the material is transported to specialized facilities where ink, glue, and staples are removed. This pulp is then repurposed into new paper goods, packaging, insulation, or even renewable fuel. Our process ensures that recycling is integrated into every job, keeping all waste out of landfills.
Secure containers are available for ongoing document shredding. Two options are offered: the Ergo Cabinet, which is a lockable metal cabinet holding about 100 pounds of paper, and the Paper Retriever, a durable plastic container with a 200-pound capacity. Both containers are provided free of charge for scheduled, recurring service, and make it easy to safely collect sensitive documents before they’re shredded on-site.
All the paper we shred is 100% recycled after the shredding process. First, our machines turn your documents into tiny, unrecognizable pieces, so there’s nothing left that can be read or put back together. Then, at a paper mill, the shredded paper is mixed with water and turned into pulp. During this process, all the ink, staples, glue, and other materials are removed. The clean pulp gets reused to make new products like cardboard boxes, paper towels, toilet paper, or even pet bedding and insulation—always after the ink has been removed and the paper is bleached. There is no chance that your old documents could ever be recovered or read again. Document security is guaranteed all the way through the process.
After your documents are shredded on-site, the paper is reduced to tiny, unreadable pieces. It is then sent to a paper mill, where it’s mixed with water to make pulp. All the ink, staples, and glue are removed during this process, and the pulp is cleaned and refined. This recycled pulp is turned into new products like paper towels, toilet paper, cardboard boxes, and office paper. Since the shredded paper has been pulped and the ink removed during recycling, there’s no way for anyone to read or reconstruct your original documents, so you don’t have to worry about document security.
