FAQs

Beef delivery is available to several Texas regions, including Lubbock, Midland, Amarillo, Austin, and the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Delivery and pickup are arranged by appointment, and specific dates for home delivery or regional pickups are listed on the website. To find out the current schedule, just check the delivery or pickup info section online before placing your order. That way you’ll know exactly when and where you can get your meat.
When you buy a whole cow, you get to work directly with us on the specific cuts and portion sizes you want. We customize your order so you can decide things like steak thickness, roast size, and how you want your ground beef. Each order is individually processed, vacuum-sealed, and flash-frozen so it fits your preferences and makes long-term storage easy. There are no extra fees for choosing your cuts, and we'll guide you through the choices to make sure you get the best use out of your whole cow purchase.
There are monthly subscription boxes you can order that include a selection of grass-fed beef cuts. The Family Box is $210 a month and comes with a mix of beef good for smaller households, while the Ranch Box is $270 a month and is the most popular option, offering more quantity and a wider variety of cuts. Both options are filled with 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef from West Texas and are great for keeping your freezer stocked without having to remember to place an order every month. Each box is shipped or ready for pickup according to your location and order preferences.
All of our meats are vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen right after processing to lock in freshness and quality. This packaging keeps air and moisture out, which helps preserve the taste and nutrients. If kept in a regular home freezer, properly sealed beef can last up to a year without losing quality, and chicken products usually stay good for about 6 months. Just make sure to keep everything frozen until you’re ready to thaw and cook.
All the beef and chicken products are raised without added hormones, antibiotics, or artificial additives. The beef is 100% grass-fed and grass-finished, and the chicken comes from trusted local farms with pasture-raised practices. Everything is naturally raised for clean, honest meat you can trust.
The Family Box is a subscription option designed for typical households looking for a variety of beef for daily meals. It offers a mix of cuts like ground beef, steaks, and roasts, portioned to feed a family for the month. The Ranch Box is a larger, more popular box that includes everything from the Family Box plus an expanded selection of premium steaks and additional cuts. Both boxes highlight West Texas grass-fed, grass-finished beef, but the Ranch Box is ideal if you want more variety or higher-end cuts for special meals. Specific contents can change depending on availability, but both boxes are curated to make meal planning simple with honest, nutrient-dense beef.
To order for pickup, start by choosing your meat cuts or subscriptions on the website and add them to your cart. When you’re ready, check out and pick the “pickup” option instead of delivery. After ordering, you’ll need to schedule a pickup time before you come by—pickup is by appointment only so your order will be ready and someone will be there to help you. Once your spot is confirmed, you just show up at your scheduled time and your order will be waiting.
When you order a quarter, half, or whole cow, you get a custom mix of steaks, roasts, ground beef, and organ meats based on your preferences. Popular cuts typically include ribeyes, sirloins, brisket, tenderloin, chuck roasts, short ribs, soup bones, and optional extras like liver, heart, and oxtail. Each order is processed just for you, vacuum-sealed, and flash-frozen. The weight you actually receive depends on the size of the animal and how it’s butchered, but a quarter cow usually yields around 90-110 pounds of finished, usable beef, a half cow often gives you about 180-220 pounds, and a whole cow is roughly 360-440 pounds. All portions are packed with a mix of premium steaks, roasts, lots of ground beef, and the specialty cuts you select. There are no extra processing fees.
