After performing a drain cleaning service, we still found that the system was not draining properly. In situations like this, it’s often a sign that the issue goes beyond a surface-level blockage and is actually located deeper within the plumbing or sewer system.
After further investigation, we identified the root cause of the problem and proceeded with accessing the sewer line directly. This required carefully opening the concrete slab to expose the damaged section of pipe. We used controlled demolition to jackhammer the area, then exposed the sewer line on both ends so we could properly evaluate the condition and prepare it for replacement.
Once exposed, it became clear that the line needed more than a simple cleaning or spot repair. We moved forward with a hydraulic replacement process to fully remove the failing section and install a new sewer line. This approach allows us to address serious underground plumbing issues at the source rather than continuing with repeated temporary fixes that do not solve the underlying failure.
Hydraulic and trench access replacements are especially effective when dealing with older or damaged sewer systems because they restore full flow capacity and eliminate recurring backups, slow drains, and ongoing drainage issues. Instead of patching symptoms, the goal is to fully correct the problem and provide a long-term solution for the homeowner.
If you’re dealing with persistent drain issues or backups, schedule an inspection.

We’re currently on site after a customer called us thinking they were dealing with routine kitchen drain maintenance. The issue started as recurring backups at the kitchen sink that kept returning even after multiple basic cleaning attempts. This is a common pattern we see in older homes where the symptoms point to a deeper issue inside the drain system rather than a simple clog.
To properly diagnose the problem, we performed a sewer camera inspection to get a clear, real-time view inside the line. Once inside, we identified that the pipe was damaged and no longer functioning as intended. In cases like this, the issue is not just buildup or debris—it’s a structural problem within the drain system that prevents proper wastewater flow.
When pipes are compromised, drain cleaning alone will not provide a long-term solution. Even if flow is temporarily restored, the underlying damage continues to cause repeated blockages, slow drainage, and ongoing backups. This is why the same issues keep returning for many homeowners despite repeated service calls.
After identifying the condition of the line, we recommended replacing the affected section of pipe to address the root cause directly. A proper repair or replacement restores full flow capacity, eliminates recurring clogs, and helps prevent future plumbing issues in the kitchen and connected fixtures.
If you’re dealing with recurring kitchen backups, slow drains, or repeated clogs that keep coming back, schedule an inspection.
